Manually opening or closing monthly timesheet periods

Required Tempo product: Tempo Timesheets for Cloud

Required permission: Tempo Administrator

Monthly timesheet periods are either open or closed. Open timesheet periods will allow team members or those with Approve Timesheet Permissions to log work, while closed periods won't allow work to be logged. 

You can use the administration options to manually open or close monthly timesheet periods. Follow the procedure below:

  1. On the main menu bar, select Tempo > Tempo administration. You can also click on the Gear icon on the Tempo Sidebar to the left.
  2. Under Period, click on Period Management.
  3. Select Open or Close for the period that you want to manage.
