Creating and editing holiday schemes

Required Tempo product: Tempo Timesheets for Cloud or Tempo Planner for Cloud

Creating holiday schemes

You can create holiday schemes to manage different types of user holidays, for example public or religious holidays. To do so, complete the following steps.

  1. On the main menu bar, select Tempo > Tempo administration. You can also click on the Gear icon on the Tempo Sidebar to the left.
  2. Under Schemes, click on Holiday Schemes.
  3. Enter the name and description of the new holiday scheme.
  4. Click Add to save.

Adding holidays to holidays schemes

  1. Click Configure on the holiday scheme you want to add holidays to.
  2. Enter the name, description, duration and date fields.
  3. Click Add to save.

There are two types of holidays:

  • Fixed: Fixed holidays are holidays that are always on the same date each year, like New years day.
  • Floating: Floating holidays are holidays that change dates each year, like the easter holidays.

Adding members to holidays schemes

  1. Click Members on the holiday scheme you want to add members to.
  2. Enter the username of the member.
  3. Click Add to save.

Editing holiday schemes

  1. On the main menu bar, select Tempo > Tempo administration. You can also click on the Gear icon on the Tempo Sidebar to the left.
  2. Under Schemes, click on Holiday Schemes.
  3. Click Configure on the holiday scheme you want to edit.
