Planning time for yourself

Required Tempo product: Tempo Planner for Cloud or Tempo Timesheets for Cloud

Required permissions: None

Using Tempo Planner for Cloud or Tempo Timesheets for Cloud, any user can plan time for themselves.

These User Plans aren't tied to any particular team and don't require any special permissions to create, since they only affect the person making the plans. This article has more information about creating plans for a team.

You can plan time for yourself from the Issue View or the Calendar.

Plan time in the issue view 

  1. In the issue, scroll down to the Planning section and click on the Screen_Shot_2017-07-28_at_1.00.49_PM.pngbutton.
  2. This opens the Create Plan dialog box. Fill in the requested information. The Start Date and End Date are automatically filled with the current date.
  3. Click Save when you are done. 

Plan time in the Calendar

  1. Click the My Work sidebar icon Screen_Shot_2017-07-28_at_5.40.32_PM.png or select Tempo > My Work from the top menu bar.
  2. Select the Calendar view at top-right.
  3. Mouse over the day you want to plan work for until the Log Time / Plan Work icon appears. Screen_Shot_2017-07-28_at_5.41.57_PM.png
  4. Click Plan Work. This opens the Create Plan dialog box. Fill in the requested information. The Start Date and End Date are automatically filled with the current date.
  5. Click Save when you are done.
