Using Tempo Gadgets

Gadgets give you a visual representation of the time spent on accounts and your team’s tracked time and resource allocation. To add a gadget to your dashboard, complete the following steps:
 
  1. Go to your JIRA dashboard and click Add Gadget. This will open the Add a gadget’ window.
  2. Locate your desired Tempo gadget in the list or write Tempo’ in the search field to narrow down your options.
  3. Once you have selected your gadget, click on Add Gadget.
  4. When done selecting the gadgets you need, close the Add a gadget’ window. The gadgets will now appear in your dashboard, ready for you to configure.
 
Below you will find a description of the gadgets useful to you.
 
Tempo Worklog Distribution
required permission: View All Worklogs
This gadget gives you an overview of worklog distribution. It can be configured according to the following attributes:
 
Period: current month, last month, current week, last week, last 30 days and last 90 days.
Group by: issue, issue type, user, project, account, epic and sprint.
Chart type: pie chart or column chart.
 
Tempo User Timesheet
required permission: View All Worklogs
This gadget displays a user’s timesheet and, with the View All Worklogs permission, you can view other users’ timesheets too.
 
Tempo Team Hours
required permission: Browse Team and Approve Timesheet
This gadget displays planned, worked and required hours for each team member. You can display the information by team.
 
Tempo People in Version
required permission: Browse Team and Approve Timesheet
This gadget displays worked and planned hours for each user in your selected version. You can display the information by project and version.
 
Tempo Account Hours by Customer
required permission: View All Worklogs
This gadget displays hours worked for a specific customer on each account during a chosen period. You can segment your information by customer and display the information in either a column chart, pie chart with numbers or a pie chart with percentages, as well as a table. You can also select your period: current period, previous period, current week, two weeks, quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) and year-to-date (YTD).
